The HIsmelt Kwinana Joint Venture Facility produces pig iron that is cast into 4.5kg “pigs”. Marketed as HIron™ – the product is one of the highest quality basic pig iron available on the market. It can be used for EAF and BOF steel making, as well as many foundry applications. HIron™ is characterised by HI Quality, HI Service and HI Performance.
